  • assist in deck operations

Qualifications 

  • OOW Deck STCW certificate II/2 or above
  • Sea survival certificate
  • Fire Fighting certificate
  • ENG1 medical certificate

Specialist training 

  • in compliance with company procedures
  • SOLAS/MARPOL & IMO requirements
  • sea survival 
  • fire fighting

Aptitude required

  • proficiency in steering of survey lines
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work within a team and to mix with people from a wide and varies background is essential
  • you need a minimum of 5 GCSEs; strong Maths skills are advantageous
