Will, former student at Broadland High Ormiston Academy, is currently studying Sports and Exercise Science at Paston College.

Ever since Will was young, he has really been into sport. At Broadland High Will chose Physical Education as one of his GCSEs, because he wanted to further develop his skills and understand the effect sport had on him. This interest allowed him to excel in his GCSEs and he never had any doubts about his choices, despite the challenges he faces when trying to balance his time. Will is still considering his post-16 choices.

Will won the OAT Innovation Award in 2019 for his work cleaning up the Broads. He wanted to raise money for a volunteering trip to Tanzania with Camps International to support and improve the lives of the local community. The idea is that you fundraise your own money, so he got into his kayak and cleaned up rubbish in the Broads to fundraise. Will got to Tanzania and he was there for a month; he helped build steps in the countryside, construct a house for a blind man, paint a school and started to dig the foundations for a school. He would love to do this again; the trip experience and the fundraising process prior to the trop made him understand the world better and develop his life skills.
